Hi friends! 🙂
Palmetto Bluff is easily one of the most beautiful spots in the Lowcountry for engagement photos. Between the towering live oaks draped in Spanish moss, quiet paths along the May River, and the charm of Wilson Village, it feels like something straight out of a Southern storybook.
When these two told me they wanted their engagement session at Palmetto Bluff, I was immediately excited. The light here is incredible, and every turn seems to offer another dreamy backdrop.
We spent the evening wandering through some of my favorite little corners of Palmetto Bluff, soaking up light and capturing the sweetest moments together. Jordan & Shane are truly two gems.

Palmetto Bluff is one of the most iconic locations in Bluffton for engagement photos, and it’s easy to see why. The property is full of beautiful live oaks, waterfront views along the May River, charming pathways, and that classic Lowcountry scenery couples travel here specifically to experience.
One of my favorite things about photographing sessions here is how many different looks we can capture in one evening. From oak-lined paths to waterfront views and the charming architecture around Wilson Village, Palmetto Bluff gives us so much variety without ever feeling rushed.
For this part of Jordan & Shane’s engagement session, we wandered beneath the oak trees where the light filtered perfectly through the moss. It’s one of my favorite spots at Palmetto Bluff because it captures that classic Lowcountry feeling couples travel here for.

One of the most iconic spots at Palmetto Bluff is the beautiful wooden bridge surrounded by towering trees and Spanish moss. It’s the kind of place that perfectly captures the relaxed, romantic feeling the Lowcountry is known for.
We ended their engagement session here as the light started to soften, letting them walk, laugh, and simply enjoy the moment together. These are always some of my favorite images to capture because they feel effortless and natural.
